1.1. CAIAC FEST is an event organized by ASOCIAȚIA CAIAC FAN (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"), a legally registered association under Romanian law, headquartered at PAJIȘTEI NR. 30, BL. 2, ET. 5, AP. 54, CAMERA 3, SECTOR 4, BUCHAREST, with CIF 49826499.

1.2. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of all services provided by the Organizer through the website www.caiacfest.ro. This document represents a legal agreement between the user and the Organizer.

1.3. By accessing caiacfest.ro, using the information available, and/or participating in the event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the website or participating in CAIAC FEST events.

2. DEFINITIONS

2.1. "User" - Any person who accesses the website caiacfest.ro or participates in events organized by CAIAC FEST.

2.2. "User Data" - Personal information collected by the Organizer for the purpose of conducting the events and managing the website.

2.3. "Website" - The online platform caiacfest.ro, where event information, registration, rules of participation, and other relevant details are available.

3.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants and users of the website.

4. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

4.1. Participation in CAIAC FEST is open to all individuals who:

• Have completed the registration form online or on-site;
• Have accepted these Terms and Conditions;
• Are physically fit for participation (for sporting competitions, participants declare they are medically fit);
• Minors must present a written agreement from a parent/legal guardian.

4.2. Participation in kayak and canoe competitions is allowed only with appropriate safety equipment (including a life jacket).

4.3. The Organizer reserves the right to deny participation to individuals who:

• Do not comply with the event regulations;
• Exhibit unsportsmanlike or aggressive behavior;
• Fail to follow the safety regulations imposed by the organizers.

5. PARTICIPATION FEES & PAYMENT

5.1. Access to the festival area is free. However, participation in sporting competitions requires the payment of a registration fee.

5.2. Payments can be made online through the official website or on-site at the festival’s registration points.

5.3. Participation fees are non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation.

6. SAFETY & CODE OF CONDUCT

6.1. Participants are required to follow all safety regulations and instructions provided by the event organizers.

6.2. The following items are strictly prohibited:

• Drugs, alcohol, flammable or explosive materials;
• Blunt objects or any items that pose a risk to others' safety;
• Pets, except for guide dogs for individuals with disabilities.

6.3. The Organizer is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings during the event.

7. PERSONAL DATA POLICY

7.1. The Organizer collects personal data from participants exclusively for logistical and administrative purposes.

7.2. The collected data is protected in accordance with GDPR legislation and will not be shared with third parties without the user's explicit consent.

7.3. By registering for the event, participants agree that the Organizer may use photos and video recordings taken during the festival for promotional purposes.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

8.1. In cases of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions), the Organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event without refunding participation fees.

9. JURISDICTION & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

9.1. Any disputes arising between CAIAC FEST and participants shall first be resolved amicably. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be settled by the competent courts in Romania.

9.2. Any complaints can be submitted via email at info@caiacfest.ro.

10. FINAL PROVISIONS

10.1. This document represents the entire agreement between the Organizer and the participants.

10.2. No provision in these Terms and Conditions grants rights or obligations to third parties.

10.3. The Organizer reserves the right to modify this document at any time without prior notice.
